    In charming surroundings on Moody’s Point where the Mighty Miramichi and the serene Bartibogue rivers converge, stands the historical church of Saints Peter and Paul. It is the fourth known church to have been built at Bartibogue Bridge.

  • Tabusintac Old Home Week Inc.

    Tabusintac Old Home Week is a week-long celebration of family, culture and community. 2025 marked the 75th anniversary of the festival - a major event that happens every five years. Set in early August (starting on New Brunswick Day weekend) this event brings friends and families together from far and wide. Attendees enjoy a schedule packed with community meals, kids activities, competitions, exhibitions, dances and much more.

  • Acadian Day Celebrations in Fairisle

    Acadian Day is celebrated in Fairisle to honour the rich heritage and culture of the Acadian people. Observed on August 15th, the day marks the Assumption of Mary and is a symbol of pride for the Acadian community. Festivities include music, a traditional supper, and the iconic tintamarre.
